This was the first track I ever recorded for this album. At the time I had no plan on releasing anything concrete, somehow had less knowledge of audio enghineering than I do now over a year later, and yet it's one of my favorite complete mixes. I've backtracked my steps, and examined the seemingly random levels of compression, arbitrary EQ notches, etc... and cannot for the life of me understand why I like it so much. Sometimes you get lucky. Go figure.

I quite enjoy the attack of the bass guitar in the second heavy section, and the general character of the midrange is to my liking.
